At the RAF Museum Cosford, you will take off from the Hangar 1, head outside and begin the race with a loop of the Museum site past iconic aircraft including the VC10, Hercules and Britannia, before heading onto the airfield at RAF Cosford. It’s a unique opportunity to run alongside the wartime hangars, the air traffic control tower and sprint down the runway!

Once you cross the finish line you will receive the highly coveted Spitfire 10K race medal.

Trentham 10k

The Trentham 10 – formerly the John Oultram – is one of the oldest races in the area, and 2022 will be the 48th year for the race.  The race is extremely popular and regularly attracts around 300 runners.

Wrexham 10k

A fast and flat rural 10k starting and finishing close to ‘The Clubhouse’ Wrexham Industrial Estate, LL13 9PH.  This race is in memory of Wrexham AAC member Helena Tipping.

Gnosall 10k

The Gnosall 10K is hosted by Gnosall Globetrotters Running Club and starts and finishes in the village at the Gnosall Family Sports Club (ST20 0JF).

The 2022 race will follow much the same route as 2019 and 2018, incorporating the Shropshire Union Canal, local farmland paths, the woodland area of Broadhill, the disused railway line (Route 55) and the ‘boardwalk’ through The Acres, In previous years we have had to include a slight detour at the start/finish because the boardwalk being flooded due to unseasonal heavy rainfall.

The course is an undulating, multi-terrain route through some absolutely beautiful countryside and is arguably the most scenic 10K in Staffordshire.
